Accessibility statement.
Our commitment to accessibility
At SWEAT we believe everyone should feel at home, on the website too. We worked to make the site comfortable and accessible for all users, including people with disabilities, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
Accessibility level
The site has been adapted to the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568 ("Web Content Accessibility Guidelines"), based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA. The principles of WCAG 2.1 were also applied in its build.
What we've done on the site
- Page structure with hierarchical headings, labelled navigation regions and a defined language (Hebrew, right-to-left).
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear indication of the element in focus.
- Alt text for images, and descriptions for buttons and icons.
- High colour contrast between text and background.
- The site adapts to any screen size and supports text enlargement up to 200% without loss of content.
- Respecting the "reduce motion" setting on your device: if you've turned it on, you'll see the site without animations.
- The testimonial videos include Hebrew subtitles and do not autoplay with sound.
- A button to pause video and animation, next to the opening video. Your choice is remembered on your next visit too.
- The opening animation plays once per visit, can be skipped with a tap or any key, and is not shown at all if reduced motion is enabled.
- Buttons and links with clear text descriptions and comfortable touch targets.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. The short background videos and the liquid animation on the home page are decorative only, without sound or essential information, and can be paused with a dedicated button. The booking and payment system for the intro session is operated by an external provider and its accessibility is its responsibility. If you run into any difficulty, we'll gladly help you complete your booking on WhatsApp or by phone.
